The Hot Toddy is usually known as a toasty winter beverage made from a distilled spirit, sweetener and water. It is believed to have originated in 18th century Scotland as a mixed drink to make Scotch more palatable to women.

The ingredients you’ll need to make a traditional Hot Toddy are:
原料1
1 oz brandy, whiskey or rum 一盎司的白蘭地、威士忌或者朗姆酒

1 Tbsp honey 1大匙蜂蜜
原料3
1/4 lemon 四分之一個檸檬
原料4
1 cup hot water 一杯熱水
原料5
1 tea bag of your favorite tea 你喜歡的茶包

Coat the bottom of a mug with the honey.將杯底盛滿蜂蜜。

Add the liquor.加入酒。
步驟3
Squeeze in the juice from the lemon.把檸檬汁擠進杯子里。
步驟4
Heat the cup of water and add the tea bag to make hot tea.沖一杯你喜歡茶包調(diào)制的茶。

Pour the hot tea into the mug and stir.將熱茶倒入杯中并且攪拌。或可根據(jù)口味替換成咖啡豆
If you’re not a tea drinker you can substitute coffee or simply add only the hot water.
如果不喜歡喝茶，也可以用咖啡代替或者直接加入熱水。
